NATIONAL ALT-FUEL ODYSSEY

  • The National Alt-Fuel Odyssey has been sponsored by the University of West Virginia each year for the past 7-years.  The Odyssey is a display of the cutting edge alternative fuel vehicles.  The displays are opened simultaneously April 20th in some 90 cities across the US by the respective Clean Cities Coalitions.  The Greater Phoenix area display will be shown at the North Scottsdale Wal-Mart parking lot, 15355 N. Northsight Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
  • At the Scottsdale event, you can expect to see: All-Electric vehicles, such as Tesla, BMW and Leif, a host of hybrid vehicles including Ford, GM, BMW, Toyota, Honda, Electric & Propane Buses, Natural Gas powered Refuse trucks, E-85 Ethanol powered police cars, Biodiesel powered trucks.
  • Similar displays will be held in Tucson, LA, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake, Houston, Dallas, Chicago New York – you name it.  The Scottsdale event will be open from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.   The public is invited. This will give you a chance to see the scope of what vehicles are available powered by a variety of clean alternative fuels.  There will even be some opportunities for ride along drives. 
No registration is required, just bring along family and friends to see what clean powered vehicles are now available.

Valley of the Sun Clean Cities will coordinate an alternative fuel vehicle display at the bi-annual convention of Fleet Pros on March 24th.  A full scope display of Clean Fuel vehicles will also feature ride-and-drive opportunities for the Fleet Operators attending the convention.
